Ok, here we go.

First off, don't attempt to start any flames or arguments about this. This is not comic to get mad over, and if you do, I'll just ignore you. Plus, you'll show people that you can't read.

Second, this comic is not meant to offend anyone. Sure, it pokes at shounen/shoujo-ai, but I don't mean to bash it. If you like that, feel free to do so. I'm just stating my feelings on it, not forcing you to obey me.

Third, I hold the right to change any rules about commenting on this deviation, so don't say, "You didn't say I couldn't say this.", as I will change these if I must.

... ok, that's over with. e_e;

I made this comic after seeing just how many fangirls (and fanboys) obsess over shounen/shoujo-ai. Edit: It has come to my attention that this specific branch of character altering is more properly called "Slash". Nonetheless, it's more when you alter the characters' sexual preferences is what bugs me, so I guess I'm aiming at a shounen/shoujo-ai slash. Sure, I don't like the stuff, but the thing that really gets me is when they alter the characters around to fit their own little fantasies. Btw, the choice of Naruto/Sasuke is not aimed at any fangirl in particular.

I'll just let my comic speak for how I feel about this. And NO, I'm not being a hater here. :/

Bravo, sir, bravo. I completely agree with you. It's fully possible to not take part in yaoi/yuri and shojo/shonen-ai and not disapprove of it at the same time.

Exactly. I mean, I'm not against same-sex relationships in a show/movie/whatever, but as long as it's actually plausible in it's respective canon. I just don't like it when people force their own kinks/fetishes on characters.

I agree with your point. I, myself, don't have issues with yaoi, cause I'm bi, but I have to take your side with this because I don't agree with changing a character that isn't yours to change. If a character is already gay or bi, then that's the character, but if not. People need to leave it alone. Its a disgrace to the original artist, saying they didn't make the character good enough. I don't have issues with fan fictions, hell I made my own Star Wars novel once, but the characters should still be who they are.

I loved this so much, and i completly agree with you. i really dont see why people get crazy over this stuff. i dont se how watching that is so grand. and i hate it when they do that to characters thats aren't gay or anything, like you said, why change them like that? i really hate when it's slash of someone who already has a love interest too.... such as Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy VIII. it would be a problem if he was gay, but since he isn't... it brings an issue. Its ok being gay and all, i have pleantly of friends who are, but that whole changing a awesome character like that is just irritating.

I think you have every right to express your views on someone as everyone else does. Plus this gives a really good point, I never thought of it that way. Not only that but it's hilarious. XD Naruto is used a lot for pairings, both gay and straight.
