The BRA

Please note: This scale is meant for fictional breast sizes, particularly those in anime. While it's possible to use this for comparing real life sizes, I would strongly recommend against it. Why? The sizes have noticeable gaps between them, making it easy to distinguish from one another, and as a result, the smaller sizes don't have the minute measurement differences that they do IRL. If you still feel the strange urge to use anime drawings as a reference for real life, I'd suggest that you disregard all the sizes past the warning strip, and bring every remaining size starting from Petite down a step. So "Petite" would become "Small", and would end with "Big" now being "Huge". "Petite" wouldn't exist anymore with this edit. So you'd end up with naming the first half as Flat, Small, Normal, Large, Big, and Huge.

What is the B.R.A.? No, it's not that Battle Ready Armor thing. It stands for any and all of these:

- Busts Regarding Anime
- Breast Reference Appendix
- Boob Rendering Accessory
- Bosom Research Account

This is basically the ultimate version of the original "MOS" that I've been tweaking over the years. I've had a high tolerance limit this whole time, but I haven't been comfortable drawing them; my limits haven't been getting bigger, just my confidence in drawing them. This chart is based off my personal views, and as such won't be universal (you might think Small is Normal, or Huge is Big, etc).

The BRA is split into four parts for each size: Description, Matt's Two Cents, At a Glance, and Reference. The Description is self explanatory. Matt's Two Cents are my own views on the subject. At a Glance is the smaller box, and has a simple doodle, while the Reference is the bigger and more basic image.

In general, I've noticed artists have three ranges when it comes to breast sizes: ability, preference, and tolerance. Ability being how far they can draw comfortably, preference is how far they find appealing, and tolerance being the absolute biggest they can handle before being turned off. Everyone's ranges are different, so don't sweat it if you don't agree with my tastes.
