I Remember You

So the preview for the upcoming "I Remember You" ep of Adventure Time finally appeared. Like usual, the previews are vague as to what will actually happen in the episode, but I've heard a while back (as well as a lot of people constantly telling me in comment form lately) that it will be about Marceline and Ice King bonding over memories.

Why is that a big deal?

Dunno, but we'll see.

Dude, I just got done watching the episode, and it is amazing the similarities to that comic and their now-canon history together. Kinda feel sympathetic for the Ice King now. Makes me want to see more of the history of the world before it became the Land of Ooh.

Oh, it'd be funny if after a long enough period of time, some of the mutated creatures and denizens read an old, broken street sign, and misread it to mean that the place was called Ooh. Like the Big MT pronounced Empty in Fallout New Vegas. That would make an awesome strip.

...givin they both do have sad back storys..and would make for awsome stand alone eps to explore ..and givin they didnt realy care about ice kings past.. they will make the big secret lame ...

I didn't know people were making a big deal over it. I suppose, since they're two of the oldest main stays, the episode might give us some insight on the Mushroom War or their past (well, Marcelines' past really. We kinda already know about the Ice Kings'). Of course you probably have those who are just crazy about ships, so there's that theory.

Either way, I'm just happy we're getting another episode with the vampire queen.
