Pedestrians have the right of way when using a crosswalk. I walk when the indicator says its fine, but I don't hurry up for anyone else. I'm not more important than they are and vice versa. They can wait.

I look both ways, run like a motherfucker, stumble, and get clipped by a rearview mirror on the other side.

Most of the time I just look for traffic, and when it's fine I'm crossing.
Real crosswalks don't have lights, wth ><

Anyway... trafficlights... I do the exact same, since they're so badly configured here that it's often safest in certain moments of red <.<
