I don't know diddly about guns (aside from that they look neat and, assuming you can get it to work, they can lay some pretty death out and abouts) so I followed yer link and decided I like revolvers better.
But if this poll had allowed an other option, I'd have wanted a metal pipe the size and length of my forearm, thrice as heavy!
I go with Pistol. Sure nothing can reach a revolver but unless it`s modern made the hit isnt that fast and hard as a pistol + I know better to handle a light pistol as a heavy revolver.
Oh and I heared the aim should be better with new pistoles, never had one but it sounds nice.
