I must say that I've been proven wrong. Your idea for the "percent system" is actually better than the concept of M3. I'm personally happy to see placidity as the major drawback, as that's the one thing Mattie needs the least.

Quite the dilemma for her, isn't it? If she drinks 2% or above, she'll be able to get over her feelings of jealousy (and possibly inferiority) toward Otome, yet at the same time she would be too carefree to have any sense of pride or accomplishment. Nothing happens if she drinks skim, and even if she drinks 1% and retains her awareness, she shall only feel the pain of being ever so slightly smaller than Otome. In short, Mattie's doomed to never consciously "beat" Otome. What a sad, sad fate.

Maybe Rain could show her how to do it without milk. But, of course, she'd have to charge. D:
