VG music doesn't count because by buying the product, you are also buying permission to use its content for personal use. FYI, one of the most awesome L4D2 themes are located in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\sound\music if you didn't already know. and "flu" has the Midnight rider's themes.
I really only pirate when it comes to things I really can't get my hands on, like old, outdated games, rare, 1 time publishes, or if something is not made any more.
Music, I really don't. It depends on the band to whether I pay money or not. Games, only if said game doesn't have a demo. Videos, not often. But mainly because seeing streams or youtube, it gets taken down quickly/banned.
I wouldn't call it piracy since the series I download are all anime yet to be licensed, usually as they're being released in Japan. If I really like it, I keep it. If not, I delete it from my hard drive. Either way, I only really started recently on that end, so I still buy box sets of older things I didn't download (like Getbackers and Bleach). When it comes to American movies and series, though, I don't download at all.
My music downloads are mainly game soundtracks and JRock, but I haven't had much to download in a while. Some of the stuff is hard to find to begin with so half the things I want to download I can't even find to buy and plenty more music I'd like I can't even find download links. Is discouraging.
I sure hope this poll doesn't get anyone in trouble though.
