pirating it would be a huge pain in the ass . you would have to get all the patches manualy.

prices are crazy low for the orange box, let alone TF2

I reward companies who give me good content and actual value for my purchase.

I paid 50$ for it (in the Orange Box) and it's probably the game I've played the most in the last 3 years.

Also, who would pirate an online game except maybe brazilians? (and they actually have a reason, which is that there are more pirate brazilian servers than there are legal ones so they're more screwed with the legal copy than with the pirated one)

I already has TF2 so I don't need to pirate it.

My computer can't handle TF2 so I bought it for the PS3 instead. Free content would be nice, but that's not stopping me from playing the game.

Hell, I was just playing it this morning. Definitely worth paying for it.

Not like it's that expensive especially if you get the ORANGE BOX combo, which is like $30 for 3-4 games.

I would probably pirate it to test if I liked it, then when I discovered how badass it is then buy it.
